Douglas Castle, author of The Costa Rican Subterfuge and Subversion in Pompeii, is a mechanical engineer in the energy industry and a lecturer for the California State University system. An avid traveler, Castle has spent over a decade traveling across Europe, South America, and Asia. He holds degrees in mechanical engineering and business. Castle currently resides in the central coast of California, where he often occupies himself by exploring nearby historical sites and learning about local legends.
